This is how they greet you here in Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel and Resort. You might smirk at first, but the truth is, it is kind of magical around here. All the little details inside and outside the hotel; the castle like building, the maze, hidden mickeys, will definitely draw smiles from the grumpiest person. As for myself, I was a kid inside Disneyland.
Hong Kong Disneyland is phenomenal because it made Disneyland accessible to Southeast Asians. For many years, children in the Philippines (and neighboring Southeast Asian countries) whose parents could not afford to bring them to the US or Japan, could only know Mickey Mouse and the Walt Disney prince and princesses through Disney channels and videos. With its opening in 2005, it made many childhood dreams come true.
There are a million of things to do in Las Vegas. It has such a good vibe because almost everyone you see there is on holiday or celebrating something: graduation, birthday, marriage, divorce, you name it! It’s the Disneyland for adults.
Panama City has one of the best quality of life in Central America, and a visit to the capital is proof of that. With an organized visit to the city
Xiamen China is a major coastal city in Fujian Province. It’s also the ancestral home of many overseas Chinese scattered around Southeast Asia. If you haven’t already guessed where I’m going with this, my parents’ are from here (Fujian). My dad actually went to school in Xiamen City, so this is sort of a homecoming for him. He hasn’t been back there for over 30 years though, and with the mega urbanization that went on in mainland China in the recent years, he’s as much of a tourist as we are.
Located just a stone’s throw away from Lisbon is the quaint little town of Sintra. In my opinion, this is one of the best places to go outside of Lisbon if you are interested in Romantic Architecture of the 19th Century, or simply because you are after a day trip from Lisbon to escape the modern city.

I travel the world on a quest to live a life not ordinary.
In the world that I wander in, one lives a fulfilling life when one follows a set path: excel as a student, secure a high-paying job, find a well to do, stable and kind partner, marry, have a million babies, and live happily ever after. For we were programmed (brainwashed?) with this narrative since childhood, it was naturally the "ever-after" I blindly sought.
However, life, with its enigmatic agenda, had other plans. Luckily, I woke up from this slumber somewhere along this journey. While my hands were never tied, my mind was shackled with unending sense of guilt and sea of inhibitions. I now understand it was my parents' way of being protective. But the moment the spell was broken, I began to see with a pair of new goggles, and I gasped for breath.
I unearthed the vastness of the world and the infinite possibilities life offers! I became different from the people around me. I’ve ignited latent passions and developed new verve for living. While part of me wishes that this revelation had come sooner, I am who I am because of who I was. I've always been a fast learner so I will catch up! This is my quest to live a life not ordinary!
